No longer strewn across my life,
Mental dross to trip and fall.
Reminders of the long ago,
Hang not upon each wall.
Gathered in a cardboard box,
Packed and ordered well.
Flaps folded in and interlocked,
Form corrugated shell.
Place upon a storage shelf,
Away from thought and mind.
Discarded not, disturbing not,
From now till end of time.
